※ For the selection of Foundation Scholarship recipients for the first semester of Academic Year 2026, priority will be given to students registered in the Scholarship Talent Pool by April 7, 2026.

1. Purpose

• To systematically manage scholarship recommendation candidates by collecting applications in advance from students who wish to be recommended for scholarships.

※ This system is being piloted for certain scholarships funded by external organizations, colleges, and foundations, including endowed scholarships.

2. Eligibility

• Currently enrolled students who wish to be recommended for scholarships funded by external organizations, including companies, external scholarship foundations, outside organizations, private donors, and endowed funds.

  (Detailed eligibility requirements for each scholarship may be provided individually when recommendations are requested, based on recommendation rankings.)

• Current recipients of continuing internal or external scholarships may be excluded from recommendation consideration depending on the scholarship type.

  Examples:

  • Students receiving tuition-support scholarships may be excluded if the award would exceed their tuition amount.

  • Students receiving living-expense scholarships may be excluded if duplicate funding is not permitted.

• Log in to the portal (http://portal.korea.ac.kr)
  → Registration/Scholarships
  → Scholarships
  → Scholarship Application
  → Click the [Scholarship Talent Pool Registration] application button.

4. Application Period

• First Round: January 14, 2026 (Wed) 10:00 AM – January 28, 2026 (Wed) 4:00 PM

• Second Round: January 29, 2026 (Thu) 10:00 AM – February 27, 2026 (Fri) 4:00 PM

• Open Enrollment: March 3, 2026 (Tue) 10:00 AM – June 30, 2026 (Tue) 4:00 PM

5. Required Document

• Scholarship Talent Pool Registration Application Form (refer to the attached template)

  • Must be uploaded in PDF format
  • Signature is required

6. Important Notes

(* Applies only to scholarship recommendations from external organizations, including endowed scholarship recommendations.)

• This process is for registration in the scholarship recommendation candidate pool and does not constitute scholarship selection.

• Final recommendation candidates may vary depending on scholarship-specific eligibility requirements and ranking criteria.

• The number of recommendations a student may receive within the same semester may be limited (up to three times).

※ Scholarships that are publicly announced and independently administered by the university or external organizations must be applied for separately.
