Mentor Recruitment (Application Deadline: May 5)
The College of Health Science is recruiting mentors for the Spring 2026 International Student Mentoring Program. Mentors will help international sophomore students adapt successfully to academic and campus life at Korea University.
Program Overview and Responsibilities
A. Program Overview
-
One mentor will be assigned to one international undergraduate student (sophomore level) in the College of Health Science.

Mentors will provide academic and campus-life support throughout the semester.
-
Mentor-mentee pairs will be matched within the same major whenever possible.
※ If no mentor is available in the mentee's major, a mentor from a related or different major may be assigned.
B. Main Responsibilities

Academic and campus-life support, including:

Course registration and academic planning guidance
-
Academic policies and administrative procedures
-
Graduation requirements
-
Campus life information
-
Guidance on using university support services and resources

Eligibility
A. Students currently enrolled in their second year or above in:
-
Division of Biosystems and Biomedical Science
-
School of Biomedical Engineering
B. Students who are willing to serve as supportive friends and senior peers for international students
※ Applicants who can speak a second language (e.g., Chinese) are encouraged to indicate this in their application.
Program Duration

Spring Semester 2026

Approximately six weeks
Benefits

Work-study scholarship payment based on actual mentoring hours completed
※ Detailed guidelines regarding eligible hours and payment amounts will be announced separately.
※ Scholarship payments will be deposited directly into the student's personal bank account after the completion of the mentoring program and will not be deducted from tuition.
